Centered on front pastedown is booklabel of Charles V.D. Elst. Inscribed in brown innk at upper right of 2nd front free endpaper recto: Ex libris J.J. Chaponnière... (perhaps Jean-Jacques Chaponnière, 1817-1890, doctor and antiquary of Geneva). Inscribed in black ink in tiny characters at inner edge of back free endpaper recto: J. Chappée. Doré. Cenoman. 1892 (perhaps Julien Chappée, b. 1862, philologist of Le Mans [=Cenomani])
