Formula:Internexus

[[/InterNexii#{{{1}}}|{{{1}}}]]

This is a simple formula for maintaining internal links within a work. (Typically, this would be a scientific work, which cites itself along the way, e.g. Disquisitiones arithmeticae.)

One has to create a kind of (alas) ugly TOC in a subpage called InterNexii. See Disquisitiones arithmeticae/InterNexii for example.

The main interest is preserving the validity of links when pages are split, or even in the page namespace (tests show it works, even though I don't know if it's proper to have a pseudo-page full of data? (proofread ext shows a random page/thefirst/last?))...

Another advantage is the compactness of links, especially with the shorthand inex:

{{inex|II.14|art. 14}}

gives

[[Sectio secunda#II.14|art. 14]]

With the proper InterNexii indexes, one can also have:

{{inex|art. 14}}

transform into either:

[[Sectio secunda#art._14|art. 14]]

or

[[Page:Gauss,_Carl_Friedrich_-_Werke_(1870).djvu/24#art._14]]

or something else somewhere else...
