Come rimediare?Mizardellorsa (disputatio) 16:02, 16 Iulii 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

--Alex brollo (disputatio) 21:37, 21 Iulii 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Your editing tools…[recensere]

Hello Alex,

I successfully installed your editing tools on Vicifons (la), but could not do it on fr… I'm specially interested in the "toggle annotations" tool, since we have gadgets for most other functions on fr.

See here, my different attempts to import, or simply copy… :((

Could you please help me ? Thanx in advance :) --Hsarrazin (disputatio) 13:36, 3 Novembris 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks for interest. I'm importing here a annotation-rich book, then I'll test again the script, and if it runs into my setting, I'll take a look to yours. The book is, Index:Le opere di Galileo Galilei I.djvu. --Alex brollo (disputatio) 11:35, 9 Novembris 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It works !!!!… Thanks sooooo much ! this tool is really genius :D - when you correct a scientifical text, with many notes, it's really THE solution ! Thanks a lot !! --Hsarrazin (disputatio) 18:13, 14 Novembris 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks! Obviuosly share it as widely as you like; it is PD. Consider that it is one of many tools of the same class, built to help proofreading.... from the "proofreader point of view" (I build only the tools that help really my proofreading work, then I share them). Finally, if you have the opportunity to meet virtually Phe, send him my best greetings. :-) --Alex brollo (disputatio) 14:32, 15 Novembris 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Please accept the nomination: Vicifons:Magistratus#Alex_brollo; thanks for all your work on this very small project!--Doug.(Disputatio Conlationes) 13:34, 25 Ianuarii 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Bot flagged[recensere]

I finally flagged your bot, does it need recensor rights also do you think?--Doug.(Disputatio Conlationes) 13:41, 25 Ianuarii 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

User:Doug Thanks both for nomination and for bot flagging (it will be useful for iwpage settings in bilingual italian/latin books). I accept it, even if presently I can't promise more than a little bit of care about la.source… but I see many friends working here, they'll ask for me for works that they know I can do. Is there a page to accept formally my nomination? --Alex brollo (disputatio) 14:46, 22 Februarii 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Just Vicifons:Magistratus#Alex_brollo, similar to Vicifons:Magistratus#VIGNERON. Nothing special.--Doug.(Disputatio Conlationes) 16:53, 22 Februarii 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hello. Could you please take a look at Vicifons:Deletiones Propositae#May 2016 and Vicifons:Deletiones Propositae#July 2016? Thanks. Ratte (disputatio) 21:52, 15 Iulii 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@Ratte: Thanks for notification, I'll do. --Alex brollo (disputatio) 06:19, 16 Iulii 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Testo in latino e in francese[recensere]

Recueil des allocutions consistoriales, encycliques ecc. ha le pagine dispari in francese e quelle pari in latino. Come si può caricare la parte latina?Mizardellorsa (disputatio) 06:44, 27 Iulii 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

--Alex brollo (disputatio) 07:02, 27 Iulii 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

How we will see unregistered users[recensere]

You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.

When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.

Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.

If you have not seen it before, you can read more on Meta. If you want to make sure you don’t miss technical changes on the Wikimedia wikis, you can subscribe to the weekly technical newsletter.

We have two suggested ways this identity could work. We would appreciate your feedback on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. You can let us know on the talk page. You can write in your language. The suggestions were posted in October and we will decide after 17 January.

Thank you. /Johan (WMF)

Need your input on a policy impacting gadgets and UserJS[recensere]

Dear interface administrator,

This is Samuel from the Security team and I hope my message finds you well.

There is an ongoing discussion on a proposed policy governing the use of external resources in gadgets and UserJS. The proposed Third-party resources policy aims at making the UserJS and Gadgets landscape a bit safer by encouraging best practices around external resources. After an initial non-public conversation with a small number of interface admins and staff, we've launched a much larger, public consultation to get a wider pool of feedback for improving the policy proposal. Based on the ideas received so far, the proposed policy now includes some of the risks related to user scripts and gadgets loading third-party resources, best practices for gadgets and UserJS developers, and exemptions requirements such as code transparency and inspectability.

As an interface administrator, your feedback and suggestions are warmly welcome until July 17, 2023 on the policy talk page.

Have a great day!

Samuel (WMF), on behalf of the Foundation's Security team 12:08, 10 Iulii 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
